Your data
stays yours.
We collect only what is needed to operate a paste-sharing service and do not ask you to create an account for normal use.
What we store
When you publish a paste, we store its title, content, visibility, creation time, view count, and detected creator IPv4 and/or IPv6 address. When supported by your browser, WebRTC/STUN may provide an additional address; server-side detection remains the fallback. The creator IP is kept for admin security and abuse review and is not shown on public paste pages. Comments contain the name and message you submit.
Visitor analytics
For the protected admin dashboard, we record page visits with IP address, approximate location, ISP, browser, operating system, device, referring URL, page, and time. This data is used to understand traffic and is not shown publicly.
Private pastes
Private pastes are intended for password-protected sharing. Do not use PasteShare for highly sensitive credentials or information that requires a formal security guarantee.
Analytics and services
We may use privacy-conscious analytics and bot protection to keep the service reliable. We do not sell your content or personal information.
Your control
Use the edit key to update or delete public pastes. Contact the site owner if you need help with a privacy request.
