How to Fix qBittorrent Not Opening on Windows (Easy Guide)

Delete the Lockfile

Sometimes a corrupt "lock" file prevents qBittorrent from starting properly.

1. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
2. Type:
   %appdata%\qBittorrent
   then press Enter.
3. Look for a file named:
   lockfile
4. Delete the file.
5. Launch qBittorrent again.
